About FPK KING
FPK is Audi's own abbreviation for the fully programmable instrument cluster, the Virtual Cockpit. We sell the genuine article.
What we do
FPK KING sells genuine Audi instrument clusters, both the 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit and the analogue clusters with colour centre display, to workshops, retrofit specialists and owners worldwide. Every unit we list was removed from a new vehicle before delivery, so the odometer reads 0 km and the cluster has never been married to a second car.
Where the clusters come from
Chinese Audi dealers routinely swap clusters on brand-new cars during pre-delivery upgrades, for example when a buyer orders a Virtual Cockpit upgrade or a different trim. The removed units are genuine, unused and still show SAFE CP because they have never been paired to another vehicle. We buy these units directly, check the label, and keep them in their original state.
How we test and document
- Every cluster is powered on at the bench and the boot sequence is filmed. The video is published on the product page and on our YouTube channel.
- The Bosch label with part number, software and hardware index is photographed and shown on the listing.
- Before shipping we compare the suffix and index with your VIN and, where you can send it, the label of your current cluster.
- The serial number is recorded before packing. Units ship in foam with DHL Express or FedEx, insured, signature on delivery.
Remote Component Protection removal
We run the ODIS online session through your own VAS 6154-type or VXDIAG interface and a Windows laptop with internet, so the cluster is coded to your car without a dealer visit. This service is offered with every cluster and separately for clusters bought elsewhere.
Who we are
FPK KING is operated by an automotive electronics trading company based in Sichuan, China, that has handled Audi and Volkswagen Group control units since 2019. We publish our reference guides on part numbers, SAFE CP and label reading because the same questions reach us every day and the answers should be public.
